Digital giving can be a modern-day tool to help us be disciplined and intentional with our generosity. Many of us have found it simplifies things to set up our mortgage, savings, and insurance as automatic online payments. This same principle can apply to generosity. MORE INFORMATION

Why should I give?

What we do with what we have has the power to change the world! As Christians we are called to trust in Him for our every need and to live generously so that we can make a difference in the lives of others in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. Each of us is on a Journey towards Generosity. From the new giver taking his/her first steps on that journey, to the more frequent giver, to the tither, to the mature giver who gives over above and leaves a legacy for future generations, God receives every gift as an eternal investment with lasting impact. No matter where you are on your journey, we encourage you to take the next step of faith to become more like the generous God we serve.

What is Mount Pisgah’s funding strategy?

God has called Mount Pisgah to build a sustainable discipleship model whereby we can use 100% of every dollar to maximize the Mission and Ministries of the church. The links below provide additional information about each giving opportunity.

  • ENGAGE (gifts & tithes) provides operational budget support to enable us to worship, care, equip disciples, teach students & children, and share the Gospel with the world. This year we are encouraging individual and families to take the 1% challenge to engage in impacting the world for Christ.

The General Operating Budget for the fiscal year July – June is prepared annually in consultation with all ministry areas. The Finance Committee then makes the formal recommendation to the Church Charge Conference for their approval.

  • THE JUBILEE PROJECT (over & above gifts) is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to eliminate our remaining debt and position Mount Pisgah to become a transformational force in our community for generations to come. With this effort, this church will realize its goal to create a viable model of ministry that is economically sound into the future. MORE INFORMATION
  • THE MOUNT PISGAH FOUNDATION (legacy gifts) provides a variety of ways to make a gift now or plan future giving to leave a legacy that will sow seeds of faith for future generations. The Mount Pisgah Foundation partners with the Georgia United Methodist Foundation to assist your giving efforts while receiving tax benefits for your and/or your heirs. MORE INFORMATION
