Mission Ministry Assistant

Mount Pisgah UMC, located in Johns Creek, Georgia is actively seeking a part time (20 hours per week) Ministry Assistant. This position will support the mission of Mount Pisgah by performing administrative duties for the Global and Local Missions ministry.

Support the Missions Pastor, mission team leaders and ministry coordinators and assist in developing a comprehensive strategy for the Local and Global Mission ministries at Mount Pisgah. Implement tactical decisions relative to missions and participate in the process of making the strategic decisions set the tone and direction of Local and Global Mission ministries. Assist the Missions Pastor and the Missions council in recruiting and help training people to participate in local, national and global missions.

Qualified candidates must be bilingual: English/Spanish, have excellent communication skills and at least 3 years of experience in ministry or other applicable fields of endeavor.

DiscipleLife Ministry Coordinator

Mount Pisgah UMC, located in Johns Creek, Georgia is actively seeking a full time (30 hours per week) Ministry Assistant. This position will support the mission of Mount Pisgah by performing administrative duties for the DiscipleLife ministry.

This position will assist the Director of DiscipleLife & DiscipleLife Pastor with administrative needs and duties pertaining to various ministries under his supervision (i.e. Adult Small Groups/Bible Studies, Adult Sunday School, Walk to Emmaus, Men/Women Ministries, Singles, Covenant Groups and 4:19 School of Disciple Makers). Serve as a first point of contact for DiscipleLife ministries.

Qualified candidates must be familiar with the Mount Pisgah UMC doctrine, possess a vital and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Worship Arts NACF Seasonal Ticket Coordinator

Mount Pisgah UMC, located in Johns Creek, Georgia is actively seeking a temporary ticket sales coordinator. This position will support the mission of Mount Pisgah by managing online ticket sales, seating charts and will call for our North Atlanta Christmas Festival productions.

This is a contract position from November 1, 2017 – December 10, 2017.

Decatur Location: RDMS Employment Opportunity

We are looking for an RDMS interested in working 2-3 days per week mainly at the Decatur clinic, occasionally working at the Johns Creek clinic. The RDMS will provide limited ultrasound for patients processing through an unplanned pregnancy. Additional medical services will also be included in this role. Training is provided by the current medical employees. The team approach to patient care through this organization is ideal with a very inviting environment to work at every day. Johns Creek Location: Prevention Team, Lead Instructor

A Beacon of Hope is looking for a young professional with a college degree in education, social work, public health, family studies, a medical field, or something similar. This role is a part-time role, working 15-20 hours per week, August through May. The Lead Instructor role for our SWAT Team teaches sexual health to 7th – 9th grade students in the local public schools. The training and the presentations are provided by A Beacon of Hope. The individual in this role needs to be comfortable and confident speaking about sexual health in a teaching format. The individual needs to be gifted in relating to middle and high school students with an understanding this is an uncomfortable topic to discuss. A Beacon of Hope – Parent Organization
RN or NP Role:

A Beacon of Hope is looking for an RN or NP that is willing to work 2-3 days per week. This role will work some days at the Johns Creek clinic and some days at the Decatur clinic. The work days per clinic is open for discussion. This role provides a very special opportunity for an RN or NP to compassionately care for a young girl, woman, or family struggling with an unplanned pregnancy or processing through sexual health decisions. The main medical services provided by this individual are early detection pregnancy verification, health screening, sexually transmitted testing and treatment, abortion education, sexual health education, and birth control education. Training is provided by our current medical staff.
