Loving Meals is a ministry designed to give physical support through meals to people who are experiencing difficult times due to surgery, delivery of baby, medical treatments and for many other reasons. Loving Meals volunteers are the hands and feet of Christ to the Body of Christ.
Meals are delivered to homes in disposable containers with no expectation of a visit from the person receiving the meal. Volunteers simply deliver the meal and leave. If you find yourself in need of meals, please let us know. We will work out a delivery schedule with you as well as any dietary restrictions so you can be ministered to in Christ’s love.
Mount Pisgah embraces the power of prayer. We are called to call on the name of Jesus for healing, strength, power and to stay in communion with Him. There are several ways you can tap into this amazing strength gained through prayer:
Intercessory Prayer Team
You can join our Intercessory Prayer Team to pray for others as needs arise. We ask that you keep your involvement in this ministry confidential as well respecting all prayer requests by keeping them confidential as well. As prayer needs arise, they are emailed out to the prayer team. You pray for these needs from your own environment.
If you have a prayer request that you would like prayed over, please click on this link. We can assure you that your request will be lifted before Jesus. For more information or to make a prayer request, contact Pastor Valorie Deel Phone: 678-336-3231 Email: email@example.com
120×120 Prayer Initiative
This is an invitation to join a great movement of God for our church and community. We are seeking 120 persons to pray over Mount Pisgah and our community for 120 days. We will begin Friday, Sept. 1 with a prayer service in The Underground at 7:00pm. We’ll conclude on Dec. 31. Each week you will be given prayer points via email for each day to cover the various ministries of Mount Pisgah, special needs for that particular day and needs of our community. You can do this from your own home for any amount of time you wish to give on a daily basis. You can register at mountpisgah.org by clicking on the 120×120 Prayer event. Praying we at least double 120 people!!!

Spiritual disciplines opens us to God’s transforming love and the changes that only God can bring about in our lives. Picking up on the monastic tradition of creating a “rule of life” that allows for regular space for the practice of spiritual disciplines, this study takes you more deeply into understanding seven key disciplines along with practical ideas for weaving them into everyday life. The choice to establish your own sacred rhythm is the most important choice you can make with your life.
Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one, confidential ministry focused on listening, caring, and providing support during life’s challenges. When you need someone that is not quite as close to the situation you are in, a Stephen Minister can be there as a third party that will listen with no judgment toward you, your situation, or others involved in your situation. You meet with your Stephen Minister once a week for an hour. Stephen Ministers are placed with a care receiver of same gender and you are your Stephen Minister’s only care receiver. Care receivers may be going through challenges such as:
- Terminal illness
- Terminal illness of a loved one
- Spiritual confusion or frustration
- Empty nest adjustments
- Forgiveness issues
- New baby
- Death of someone close
- Loss of pregnancy
- The list could go on…
Formerly known as Forever Young, Prime Time Ministry is designed to walk with our senior community as they continue to live wonderful, spirit-led lives, as they continue to serve God’s kingdom, bringing them and others closer to Him.
Lunch and Serves
We will have lunch and serves throughout the year to enjoy fellowship and lunch together as well as serve in projects to assist our community and church. These projects will vary throughout the year.
Lunch and Learns
We always want to learn as much as we can while also enjoying those around us. Throughout the year we will benefit from various learning events while we have lunch together as well.

It’s easy for grandparents to feel irrelevant, undervalued, disconnected or even unsure of their roles or boundaries. Extreme Grandparenting can change this by giving you a pro-active, deeply relational way to make an earthly and eternal difference to your grandchildren. Whether or not you were as effective as you wanted to be as a parent, this material offers you a chance to, once again, help groom a generation for greatness. Start making an eternal difference today!
Prime Time Senior Singles Ministry
Sometimes we find ourselves either still single or single again in our senior years of life. We want and need companionship of friends. Reservation is required. Here’s the schedule for the remainder of 2017:
