Become a Member of Mount Pisgah
To place membership with Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church contact the church office at 678-336-3225 to schedule a Sunday to come forward and publically profess your faith, or simply come forward during any 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00am Sunday service when the pastor invites those wishing to join the church to come forward.
Baptism
If you have never been baptized you will need to prepare for baptism. Baptisms at Mount Pisgah are by sprinkling or pouring, unless you desire full-immersion baptism. To schedule baptism please call 678-336-3225. After your baptism you will join by profession of faith durin a worship service.
Profession of Faith
If you are joining the church for the first time and have been baptized you will join on profession of faith, and we will recognize your baptism. A renewing of your baptism can be celebrated if you desire.
Letter of Transfer
If you are a member of another United Methodist church or another denomination you will be transferring your membership to Mount Pisgah. Our church office will request a transfer letter to our congregation. The United Methodist Church honors baptisms from all denominations, so new members will not be baptized again.
