Local Outreach
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
Matthew 25:35-36

Mount Pisgah Local Outreach Ministry puts hands and feet on what it means to Love God, Love People. As we come near to God, He comes near to us and burdens our hearts for those who need to be reminded that God cares.

The mission of Local Outreach at Mount Pisgah is to remind those in need, through tangible and spiritual support, that God cares for them. Whether serving the homeless, providing a handmade blanket for a Veteran or visiting a senior in a Nursing Home, or partnering with local organizations like Habitat for Humanity, we follow the example of Jesus as He took up the towel to serve.

Whenever we mentor a child or feed the hungry, we answer the call to put others ahead of ourselves. When we join in worship with inmates at a local transitional facility, we put a face on the God who loves unconditionally and forgives each one who repents.

The Gospel takes flight on the wings of service, and our prayer is that all who join with us in service will soar.
